Guardians of the Realms: Ch 8
So this is what it feels to be unconscious, the griffon thought. Darkness gave way to light as Aviator opened his eyes. He tried to stretch but found that his movements were restrained. His forelegs were shackled to a wall, leaving him to hang against the hard cobblestone that made up the dungeon he was imprisoned in. He looked around, taking in his surroundings, which was hard as there wasn't much light. As he gathered his bearing he found that he was not the only creature in the dungeon. In fact, the large, cold room seemed to be almost full with ponies, their hooves shackled to walls. Next to him, he was surprised to see a very tired,

Wanted in Equestria
"Opal get over here right-" The white unicorn known as Rarity stopped when she came eye to eye with the heavily armored griffon her cat was hiding behind. "Oh. I'm so sorry. I didn't know this car was occupied," she said apologetically.
"Th-that's OK. I'm, uh, Aviator," Lokesh said. "I'm guessing this is Opal?" he said, raising the cat in question to eye level. Opal mewed and squirmed until Lokesh put her down.
"Yes. I am so sorry she disturbed you! She just won't take her medicine!" Rarity replied, using magic to levitate a rather small pill.
"Here, allow me." Kash sat down, and with a little goading, and prod

The New Realm
Kash's dream was interrupted by a weird clacking sound. He opened his eyes slowly. The light pouring in from a window blinded him. He shut his eyes tight again.
Oh my head Damn it Keeper, does this have to happen every time? Cause it sucks Instinctively Lokesh reached to rub his headache away only to have it return with full force when he sat up. Opening his eyes for a second time now fully adjusted to the light, he noticed he was in a large luxury train car. Looking around, he saw something that almost made his eyes pop out of his head. "You are way too excited about this," Kash said disapprovingly, looking at his partner in crime, the Brenton Thorn. She was grinning from ear to ear and lacing up her leather armor that the Keeper had left them.
"Well, it's kinda exciting isn't it? I mean, were basically super heroes, traversing the realms to save the world!" She stood up and bounced excitedly.
Kash had to admit, the prospect of being a hero was very exciting to him too, but he was better at controlling himself than his friend.
"Just don't get too excited. The way the Keeper talked, we're in for one hell of an adventure."
"Oh don't be such a downer Kesh

Explanations
The Caravan had left hours ago, and still Kash sat in the same place they had left him. He had thanked them for their help and watched them disappear behind a layer of trees and foliage. Now, he stared into the fire, poking the embers with a stick moodily. Thorn lay on the other side, curled up in a bed roll fast asleep. He wished he could be doing the same.
His eyes drooped heavily. Startled, he opened his eyes wide to prevent the image that always popped up when they were closed. The guard, the guard he killed, lying in a pool of his own blood. Kash shuddered and curled his tail around his feet.
"Something is troubling you

Bail Out!
Night had fallen long ago. Lokesh, newly named Kash the Fearless, lay sleeping by the dying embers with the other members of the Caravan. Suddenly he stirred. His sharp cat ears had heard a sound. Kash stood up.
"Who's there?" he hissed, unsheathing his dagger.
"Put that toy away Guardian. I am not here to harm you," came an ominous whisper. Kash strained his eyes but couldn't see anything outside of the glow of the fire. He found himself sheathing the weapon obediently. "Good. I bear a message from my master. You must find your friend and ensure both her safety and that of the scroll. Go now, there is not much time left to wa
